IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to announce that Karp Associates, Inc. ("Karp") has acquired the Adjustable Shelving line from Great American Shelving Company, Inc.  Adjustable Shelving will join Karp's family of shelving brands, which includes Paragon Shelving, Luckner Steel Shelving, and Ascot Steel Equipment.

This acquisition will enable our organization to expand upon the distribution that we have achieved in the past few years with the Paragon Shelving brand.  Although Paragon has enjoyed strong distribution growth in the East Coast, the addition of the Adjustable Shelving line, and its comprehensive rep network will enable us to more quickly expand our distribution of Case Type Library shelving nationwide. Additionally, the Adjustable Shelving brand will expand our product offering with a complete line of mailroom products.

Our plans are to maintain the Paragon Shelving and Adjustable Shelving brands as separate entities. Furthermore, Karp immediately will manufacture the Adjustable Shelving line at its Maspeth, NY facility.

We are pleased to announce that Abe Schechter will act as an Independent Sales Representative for the Adjustable Shelving brand. Additionally, Nancy Schultz of Adjustable will be joining the Karp family as a Sales Coordinator. Abe and Nancy will ensure a smooth and expeditious transition.
